Plaid Pistol is a five-piece 90s alternative rock and grunge cover band based in the Upstate of South Carolina. We’re a group of guys brought together by a shared love of great music, a slightly questionable sense of humor, and a desire to bring the energy of 90s rock back to local stages.

We’re fathers, career professionals, and a couple of military veterans—but when we hit the stage, we’re just five guys who love to play loud. What started a few years ago as a fun side project for a handful of friends has grown into a five-piece band with one simple goal: bring more of the music we love to the places we love to hang out.

Our sound is heavily influenced by the Seattle grunge movement and the incredible alternative rock that defined the era. From Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains to Live, Collective Soul, and many more, we play the songs that made the 90s unforgettable—with plenty of fuzz, distortion, and volume along the way.

Whether it’s a local venue, private event, festival, or backyard party, Plaid Pistol brings high-energy 90s rock and grunge with one thing in mind: have a damn good time and make some noise.
